Tom began his career at the age of 19 for Life of Georgia while in college at the University of South Carolina. He completed his education and graduated from Kennesaw State with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and worked as an accountant for 3 years before transitioning into an agent role in Atlanta. Later, he was promoted to an Agency manager position in Anderson SC where he and his family spent 7 years. After 15 years with Life of Georgia, he joined Bankers Life as a Branch Sales Manager in Columbia SC for 17 years. He partnered with Summit Advisory Group in January 2021, as a Managing Director, Registered Representative, and Investment Adviser Representative.
Tom and his wife Karen have been married 31 years and have 4 adult children, 3 sons and a daughter.
Outside of work, Tom and his family are members of Mount Horeb United Methodist Church in Lexington, SC. He enjoys spending time with family, cook outs, lake fun, sporting events and an occasional round of golf.
