Laurie Welch has been the Office Manager for Summit Advisory Group’s Nashville, Tenn. location, formerly Insurance and Planning Solutions, for six and a half years. She graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering.
Previously, Laurie worked as a customer service representative in the banking industry, an office manager/administrative assistant for both a clinical psychologist and industrial psychologist, and for a short time, was a quality assurance manager/trainee for F-15 airplane maintenance at Warner Robbins Air Logistics Center in Georgia.
“I feel my past job experiences where I gave great attention to details and provided a high level of customer service helped prepare me to work at Summit Advisory Group,” Laurie said.
Laurie and her husband Andy have been married for 28 years. Together, they have three children, Sydney, Courtney and Matthew. Sydney attends college at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, and Courtney and Matthew are in high school. In her spare time, Laurie enjoys cooking, sewing, doing DIY projects and spending time with her family.
