Debra B. Patterson, LUTCF

Debra B. Patterson has more than 23 years of experience in management, recruiting and insurance sales and marketing. Starting as a Sales Agent with Prudential Insurance & Financial Services in Greenville, SC in 1992, she was promoted into management in 1996 and maintained executive roles with Prudential until 2000. She left Prudential to work with RBC Liberty Insurance as Vice-President of Marketing Communications and Vice-President of Product Development. In 2005, she returned to Prudential Financial as the Managing Director in St. Louis, Missouri, where she recruited and developed successful managers and agents, with supervisory responsibilities and oversight of compliance operations. Debra moved to Winston-Salem in 2010 as the District Manager and Field Management Consultant for Western & Southern Life Insurance Company/Financial Group, a position she held for five years.

Debra joined Summit Advisory Group as a Managing Director in February 2015 to lead the way for recruitment and development in the agency’s Winston-Salem office. She specializes in Life Insurance, Retirement Planning Strategies, Business Continuation, Investments, Annuities and Key Person Insurance. She attended North Greenville College in Greenville, South Carolina and is a member of GAMA and NAIFA. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering at church and working with women who are victims of domestic violence.

Debra and her husband, Ike, reside in Colfax, NC and have three children and eight grandchildren. When she can, she enjoys singing and playing piano, reading, and serving as a keynote speaker for women’s events, including educational seminars, motivational speaking and business seminars.
